On Saturday, January 21, 2023, Lt. Col. Brad Degenhardt was installed as the President of the Northern Kentucky Police Chiefs Association for 2023.  The City of Lakeside Park is proud to congratulate our assistant chief for this distinguished honor that highly reflects the honor and reputation of the Lakeside Park-Crestview Hills Police Department. Sgt. Michael Paolucci was honored with the Chief Robert Sheilds Memorial Award for Outstanding Police Service for his hard work and service to implement a Police Citizens Academy at Thomas More University into the curriculum.  He was also recognized for his efforts to create the LPCHPD's internship program. R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense Systems) for WOMEN ONLY. Upcoming class: February 15, 17 and 22, 24 from 6pm-9pm. You must attend all 4 classes.  For more information or to register, contact Sgt. Due to several cancellations for the upcoming RAD class, it has been canceled. Hopefully there will be enough interest to host a class in the fall.  We will post any scheduled class on social media, city signage and our websites.  ******** RAD, which stands for Rape Aggression Defense is a self-defense class taught exclusively to women. It has gained national recognition as a premier self-defense program for women. RAD’s core four principles of awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance are coupled with basic physical defensive moves, all of which when combined, afford a woman the option to defend herself. ***EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED*** RAD, which stands for Rape Aggression Defense is a self-defense class taught exclusively to women. It has gained national recognition as a premier self-defense program for women. RAD’s core four principles of awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance are coupled with basic physical defensive moves, all of which when combined, afford a woman the option to defend herself. The class consists of 12 hours of instruction typically separated into four, three-hour sessions taught over a two-week period. Class times can be morning, afternoon, or evening, whichever is convenient for the majority of the students.
