Trash Pickup Alert

Due to excessive heat, Bestway will begin trash pickup at 6:00 am when the heat index is predicted to exceed 90º.  This will begin on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Please do not put your trash cans out before 6:00 pm on the day before scheduled pickups.  The cans must also be brought back no later than 9:00 am on the day following pickup.  Violations may be subject to a $50.00 fine.

The City of Lakeside Park is accepting applications for  a Part Time Recreation Director. The position involves approximately 15 hours per month on the average. We are currently seeking an outgoing creative individual to lead our Recreation Program for the residents of all ages in the City of Lakeside Park. The successful applicant must be 21 years of age. The deadline to submit a letter of interest stating your qualifications must be received no later than July 15, 2022. Successful applicants based on your letter of interest will be contacted for an interview. Please send letters to the City of Lakeside Park, 9 Buttermilk Pike, Lakeside Park, KY. 41017. Large Item Garbage Pickup - June 4th

The Large Item Garbage Pickup is Saturday, June 4, 2022! Please have all items to the curb after 6 p.m. the evening before pickup, as the trucks begin trash collection early Saturday morning.   Please do not dispose of paint, tires or other hazardous materials.  Mattresses and upholster furniture should be completely wrapped in plastic.  Brush and tree trimming should be bundled and cut to no longer than 4 feet.  All refrigerators should be properly tagged and have the Freon removed.  This day is not to be used for regular trash disposal. If you have any questions about particular items contact Best Way Disposal at 859-372-4900.
