Public Works Project Update - March 11, 2016

The 2016 Street Program will consist of: East Lakeside Ave.: Dixie Highway to Rock Crystal Lane West Lakeside Ave.: 122 West Lakeside to 106 West Lakeside Fred A. Nemann Co. has been awarded the water main replacement work for Northern Kentucky Water District. A preconstruction meeting was held with the contractor, NKWD and representatives of the City on April 8. Water main work will begin on May 2 and Conclude on July 1. Roadway reconstruction work was awarded to JPS Construction in the amount of $430,550.50. A preconstruction meeting will be scheduled in the coming weeks. Roadway reconstruction is anticipated to begin on July 5 and conclude on November 18, 2016. Work on West Lakeside may begin prior to July 5 depending on the Contractor’s exact schedule, which w...

The New Year brings several changes at the City Building. On December 31, 2015 we said goodbye to our Deputy City Clerk Susan Laws. Susan had been with us for five years working in a part time capacity. Susan was also editor of our city newsletter. On the days she wasn’t working at our City Building she was at the City of Crescent Springs in the same capacity. Due to a retirement in Crescent Springs, Susan was requested to move into the City Clerk/Treasurer’s full time position. Susan was truly an asset to Lakeside Park and will be missed, but as I told her, she is just a mile down the road
