March 18, 2019   Dear Lakeside Park Resident, As you may know, over the past year, we have been exploring the possibility of constructing a new City Building in Lakeside Park. For nearly fifty years, the single-family dwelling at the corner of Buttermilk Pike and Dixie Highway has served as the City Offices, including the Council Chambers and the Public Works department in the basement. A year ago, a Building Committee was formed consisting of two Council Members along with the Public Works Director, Recreation Director, Deputy City Clerk, City Engineer, and myself to review our options.
