I am very happy to report that once again our
City Council has approved the same tax rate for
the Fiscal Year 2015-2016, as we have had for
the past eight years. You should receive the bill
between the middle and the end of October. All taxes are due and payable
on or before December 31, 2015. To avoid any penalties all payments that
are mailed in must be postmarked on or before December 31, 2015.

Board and also as an alternate on the Planning Development Services Council.

With fall weather now upon us, I am able to look back at the

streets being resurfaced. In addition to street replacements this year,
we were mandated by the federal government to replace our stop signs
throughout the City. This was necessary due to new reflectivity requirements on the face of the

It is hard to believe that Spring has finally arrived.
lawn mowers have replaced snow blowers and garden
spades have replaced snow shovels. Over the long cold
winter business went on as usual around the city building.
The original five year road program was updated.
