The Lakeside Park Board of Adjustments will conduct a public hearing on Monday, August 2, 2021 in the Lakeside Park City Building.  The purpose of this hearing is to obtain input from the general public regarding a request by Lakeside Presbyterian Church to reface its sign with a 14 square foot electronic changeable sign. CITY SLOGAN CONTEST Deadline for submission: Noon on July 30, 2021. Lakeside Park residents are so very blessed to live in such an amazing city! The City of Lakeside Park’s Recreation Department wants to hear your ideas for a slogan that best defines our city. What makes Lakeside Park unique, special, fun, etc.? What is it about Lakeside Park that makes it such a treasure? How would you capture our city’s identity in just a few words? Our city is now 91 years old and we are long overdue for a catchy slogan! Attached are the Rules and Entry Form for Lakeside Park’s Slogan Contest to print off the submission form or pick up one from the City Building Lobby. Unfortunately, any late submissions will not considered.

CANCELLED- Rape Aggression Defense - RAD

Due to several cancellations for the upcoming RAD class, it has been canceled. Hopefully there will be enough interest to host a class in the fall.  We will post any scheduled class on social media, city signage and our websites.  ******** RAD, which stands for Rape Aggression Defense is a self-defense class taught exclusively to women. It has gained national recognition as a premier self-defense program for women. RAD’s core four principles of awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance are coupled with basic physical defensive moves, all of which when combined, afford a woman the option to defend herself.
