Filling Unexpired Term for Council Member Vacancy

Due to a Council resignation, Lakeside Park City Council must fill a vacancy on Council before February 9, 2019. If any resident, no less than 18 years of age, who has currently been living in the City for at least one year is interested in serving on Council for the first year of a two- year term, he/she must submit a letter of intent with a short Bio to Mayor David Jansing prior to 4:00 PM on January 30, 2019. To continue to serve and fill the second year of the two-year term, applicants must then file as a candidate with the Kenton County Clerk’s office for their name to be placed on the November 2019 General Election ballet to be elected by the voters.
