Congratulations, Pastor Torrey!

On Monday, May 8, 2017, Mayor David Jansing and City Council honored Lakeside Presbyterian Pastor J. Chris Torrey with a Proclamation honoring his many years of service to his congregation and our community.  Pastor Torrey will be retiring at the end of May after dedicating many years to the service of others and Our Gracious Lord.  Sunday, May 28, 2017 will be Pastor Chris Torrey Day in the City of Lakeside Park.     Congratulations on your retirement, Pastor Torrey, with our sincerest "Thanks!"

Armed Forces Day 5K Run/Walk

You are invited to participate in the Armed Forces Day 5K Run/Walk event on Saturday, May 20, 2017.  The proceeds from this event benefits the Kenton County Veterans Memorial in the Crescent Springs Memorial Park. Please see the attached flyer for details and registration form. The Soldiers will be arriving in NKY on May 19th. We would like to greet them with a picnic style dinner at the Crescent Springs Park at 6:00 p.m. We are expecting about  30-40 soldiers and their families, with total guest list about 65. The meats for grilling have been donated, but we need your help with the rest of the menu. If you can provide chips, desserts or drinks (requested Coke, Caffeine Free Diet Coke, Sprite, Sprite Free, and/or Orange Crush) brink them to the CS City Building or to the ...

Trash & Recycling Update

    The City has received new bids for trash and recycling services for the next four (4) years.  Unfortunately, all bids are significantly above the current $150 per year paid by our residents for trash pickup twice a week and recycling once weekly.      The cost to retain our current service would increase to nearly $250 for the first year, and increase annually thereafter.  The lowest bid would be to reduce trash pickup to once per week with recycling pickup on the same day.  The cost for this would begin at $203 per year.     The consensus of city council is that trash & recycling should be reduced to once weekly.    Effective July 1, 2017 Trash and Recycling will be picked up  once a week. Hello Everyone, We are canceling Saturday's Clean-Up Day in Lakeside Park, due to lack of interest from residents. We only received one email to register.
