2020 Property Tax Bills Have Been Mailed

Property Tax Bills have been mailed. All payments must be postmarked NO LATER than December 31st to be paid in full without delinquency. If you ESCROW, the bill needs to be forwarded to your Mortgage company.  Payments can be made at the Lakeside Park City Building at 9 Buttermilk Pike . Check and Cash (exact change only) are accepted. We do not accept payment by credit card.  If the Office is closed, payments can be left in the Lock Box, located next to the front entrance and will be posted on the next business day. EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING BEGINS TODAY! Kenton County residents can vote October 13 - November 2 (Monday - Friday) from 7:30am - 4:00pm and Saturday, October 17, 24, & 31 from 9:00am - 2:00pm at the Kenton County Government Center (1840 Simon Kenton Way, Covington) and the Independence Senior Center (2001 Jackwoods Parkway, Independence). Trick-or-Treat is scheduled for October 31, 2020 6-8 PM. Participation in the event will be left up to each individual household. If you DO NOT wish to participate, please turn off all outdoor lights.  Please follow the Guidance from the Governor’s Office through the State and Northern KY Health Department for Halloween and all related activities.  **This is NOT a city sponsored event. Participation is optional.**

Best Way Disposal is once again accepting items outside of your trash bins. As a reminder, please be respectful when placing your trash and recycling out to the curb.  - All mattresses and upholstered furniture should be completely wrapped in plastic to protect the driver. - Leaves and yard waste can be bagged and set out with trash on your scheduled collection day. Branches must be bundled and cut less than 3 feet in length. - Bins cannot be put out before 6:00 PM on the day prior to collection and must be removed by the end of the day of collection. Best Way will collect large items year round, but you must call and notify them in advance.
