Large Item Garbage Pickup Postponed

Posted on Friday, May 22, 2020
The Large Item Garbage Pickup, originally scheduled for June 6, 2020, has been postponed. We are working with our partners at BestWay Disposal to reschedule the event for later this year. The event will only happen after the consent of the Northern Kentucky Health Department and the Office of the Governor have cleared such activities. We understand that this is one of the most anticipated events of the summer and we will continue to try to host a date in the near future.  Please follow the City Website, City Facebook Page, join the email list, and the City Sign (YES, it is finally working again!) We will post updates as we receive them.

Update on Waste & Recycling during Covid-19 Outbreak

Posted on Tuesday, April 14, 2020
Effective Immediately and Until Further Notice:  For the residents of Lakeside Park, concerning the current situation with trash/recycling pickup during the Pandemic, Bestway is following the recommendations of the Health Department for their safety. They will not be picking up bags and other trash that is not inside a can. The can doesn’t have to be a Bestway issued can or recycling bin. If you need another can, please contact Bestway Disposal and they can make arrangements to get one dropped off for a minimal charge of $ 3.00 per month. Their phone number is 800-354-1830. Another option you have is if everything will not fit in the can(s) you have, please put out what you can on Thursday, and refill it for pickup on Friday. Call the City office on Thursday before 3:00PM with ...

Changes Due to COVID-19 - All Non-Essential Meetings/Events Cancelled

Posted on Friday, March 13, 2020
We are here to serve our residents during this time of uncertainty.  In light of recent developments with school closings and COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus, we are asking those who need information from the City Offices, our Public Works, or our Police Officers to consider whether the matter can be taken care of with a phone call or email rather than coming to the office.  By limiting face-to-face contact, it will limit the chance of the spread of illnesses and will help ensure our employees are here to help you.  However, if you feel your concern needs to be addressed in person, we will continue to have employees available at the City Building to assist you, to the extent we are not ourselves affected by COVID-19.
