The Recreation Committee has some great events planned for the next few months. Please plan to join your neighbors for some or all of the following. Keep in mind that our City Building is closed on Fridays when you leave a message there Fridays- Sunday, that message will not be received until Monday.

Don't forget that there are discount tickets at the City Building. These tickets are good for any movie any showing- unless noted in their newspaper ad.
Lakeside Park Recreation Committee
We are currently looking for volunteers to serve on the committee. It's not a huge time commitment and if you can't volunteer for the committee, please consider volunteering to help out with 1 or 2 events listed in the newsletter.
And please remember that we are ALWAYS looking for new ideas of what events our residents would like to see the Committee sponsor. Call Libby- 331-4108- with any ideas.

Saturday, 3/13 Eastern Bunny Pancake Breakfast @ Immanuel United Methodist Church - 9 AM
$2 Adults & $1 Children 10 & under
Plan on joining us for the annual pancake and sausage breakfast. The Easter Bunny will hop in for photos with the kids- BRING YOUR OWN CAMERA. We'll have an indoor Easter egg hunt with great prizes; games; and a craft or two- plus a goodie bag for each child. Please reserve by calling 426-7200 and leave a message with the number of people attending and the ages of each.

If you arrive one hour early the day of the show, you can participate in the Pre-Show- FREE TO ALL TICKET HOLDERS! See a picture painting pachyderm- try on a Ringmaster's jacket- watch the dynamic dancers- and collect autographs from the Stars of the Show- for memories that will last a lifetime. Adopt a Unit- HHB soldiers from Ft. Campbell's 1-320th of the 101st Airborne
For any of you, who did not meet our adopted soldiers at Light-Up Lakeside and would like to make a donation to our fund, please send check to Lakeside Park Adopt a Unit- 9 Buttermilk, Lakeside Park, KY 41017. These brave enlisted men and women will be heading to Afghanistan in early summer. We've supported this Unit through their last two deployments to Iraq and they will need our help again as some are serving their 4th deployment. Donations will be used for care packages and items that will make the deployment more bearable as they serve our country.
